There are a number of ways to spot what's going on in the skies over the country. Here are some of the best: Traffic cones.Traffic cones are signs that are placed in the roadway at certain intersections to prevent vehicles from turning onto the same road.A traffic cone is not a traffic signal and does not mean you're going to get a ticket. You can only stop for one car at a time at a given intersect...
— It’s not the biggest story in the world.
But there is one driver whose life has been forever changed by a speeding ticket: Joe Fong, whose face was all over the headlines because of it.
The story began a year ago when Fong’s truck driver’s license expired.
It was a huge setback for the family, and it’s what ultimately led to the family moving from Michigan to China.
Fong is a native of China and has lived in Detroit for almost a decade.
He told ESPN.com his family’s experience there helped them realize the importance of paying attention to their speed.
“It’s really hard for people in America to understand that people who are not in our country are getting tickets, and that’s what they do.
I think people think we don’t pay attention to it,” Fong said.”
I’ve seen it happen to a lot of people, and they get stopped by police and the ticket is not taken,” he said.
“So if you’re driving like this, it’s really easy to get pulled over.”
In March of this year, Fong received a ticket for speeding.
He said he got pulled over by police because he had his license out and his registration plate.
It showed he was over the speed limit.
The Detroit Police Department didn’t immediately respond to a request for comment.
Fong is now trying to figure out how to get his license back and the details of the ticket to be expunged.
“We’re looking into it,” he told ESPN, adding that he hopes his story can be used as a cautionary tale for other drivers.
The fact that a driver is caught speeding doesn’t mean they’ll be ticketed, Fung said.
He’s already seen a number of people who have been ticketed after being caught speeding who have filed a lawsuit.
“When I was driving that morning, I saw a guy speeding at 70, 80 miles an hour, and he got ticketed,” he added.
“I had to tell him, ‘It’s not worth the ticket, you can get a new license.’
He got a new one.
I’ve got a license.”
It’s a message the Fong family is hoping to send to other drivers who may get ticketed.
“It really helps when we talk about what’s driving, it helps to show that there’s other ways of driving, because people don’t understand that if you go over the limit, you’re going to be pulled over,” Fung told ESPN in an interview earlier this year.
Fongs driver’s record is an interesting one, as he has a lengthy history of traffic violations.
Fongs most recent arrest occurred in 2012 when he was caught driving under the influence, according to Detroit police.
He was cited for a reckless driving charge and suspended for 10 days.
Fooks first wife, Marlene, also had a long history of driving violations and convictions, according the Detroit News.FONG’S PASSENGER PASSENGERS IN THE UNITED STATES:Driver’s License Expiration Date: February 1, 2018*Driver’s Name: Joe Wong*Driver Date of Birth: March 6, 1991*Driver City: Detroit*Driver State: Michigan*Driver Zip Code: 31316*Driver Age: 36*Driver Place of Birth:(city) *Driver Country: United States*Driver Citizenship Status: U.S. citizen*Driver Passport Number: H-2a, H-1b*Driver Insurance Type: Standard*Driver Occupation: Truck Driver*Driver License Date of Issuance: February 15, 2020*Driver Record Type: Commercial Driver*Passenger Name: Marlene Wong*Passengers Name: Heather Wong*Vehicle Name: Fong vehicle*Vehicles State: CHICAGO*Vehiclanes Name: 2×4″ (5×8″)*Number of Passengers: 4*Number Of Persons: 6*Total Vehicle Weight: 6,000 lbs.*Total Vehicle Size: 2,000 lb.*Total Weight: 4,400 lbs.*Weight: 4100 lbs.*Total Gross Weight: 3,000,000 pounds.*Fuel Consumption: 2.9L (19 gal) per 100 miles (40 mpg)*Gasoline Consumption: 1.7L (18 gal) / 100 km (40.5 mpg)*Fuel Consumption Rating: 5L/100km (37.5 / 53.2 mpg): 0.78/3.4/1.5L (23 gal): 0/2.3/1MPG (13 mpg/16.5 gal)*Fuel Economy Rating: 15L/80km (46.9 / 67.8 mpg, highway only): 0 / 1/6/1L (26 gal): 1/3/5MPG: 12.7/15.1/19.4MPG Combined (city and highway): 13.4 /
