REDICULOUS BY KAREN DALE FOR ESPN ORIGINAL MEDIA For the second time this season, the Memphis Suns are a perfect 6-0, having scored a total of 89 points on average this season.
In their first game, the Suns played against the Orlando Magic and went on a 27-8 run, shooting 60.5 percent from the field.
That was an NBA record for consecutive games with at least 60 points in the first half and 70.7 percent from behind the arc.
On the other hand, the Magic went on to lose and miss the playoffs.
This week, the Phoenix Suns will play the Milwaukee Bucks, who are 7-4.
The Suns, who will face the Bucks on Friday, will look to bounce back against the Bucks, whom they lost in the playoffs to in the second round.
They also beat the Portland Trail Blazers and Dallas Mavericks last week.
In the last three games, Phoenix has been the aggressor, scoring 109.5 points per game.
They have won two of three and beat the Indiana Pacers and Brooklyn Nets in five games.
“The key to our offense is our ability to create open shots and the Bucks have done a good job at that,” Suns coach Earl Watson said.
“We’ll have to do a better job of that, but I think that’s where we’ll get to.”
The Bucks are a team that has a great chance to win the West, with a winning record of 27-11, and the best record in the Western Conference.
Milwaukee’s players, including the team’s big man, Giannis Antetokounmpo, are playing at a high level.
They are averaging 18.8 points per 100 possessions and shooting 54.5% from the floor.
In the last five games, Milwaukee has scored a league-high 121.3 points per contest and is averaging 109.8 shots per game, including a league high of 110.8.
